Bảo tàng Cội Nguồn - Phú Quốc

Phu Quoc Introduction

By the year 2000, Phu Quoc was still an unknown tourist attraction in the map of Vietnam. Every week, there were only 3 flights from Ho Chi Minh City to this island. According to the data collected by Viet Nam Airlines, in the year 2000, 50% of 30,000 passengers were domestic flyers.

This situation has changed considerably in the past two year. When the tourists were encouraged to discover this marvellous new land, Viet Nam Airlines Cooporations decided to operate 2 flights everyday to serve the flyers’ needs. Nowadays, the frequency of flights from Ho Chi Minh City has come up to 5 times a day, and 70% of these visitors are tourists. Phu Quoc is currently a precious pearl in Vietnam tourism industry.

This tourism resource is considered “The Newborn Heaven”, enriched by primitive forests, moutain ranges, fascinating beaches and beautiful dreamlike streams.
