Lying under the shade of trees by the moutain slope, Coi Nguon appears as a preserving place for rare wild animals such as sea eagles and Phu Quoc vortex dogs. There are groups of ten sea eagles and more than 300 vortex dogs being raised and conserved at the museum. Sea eagles are specially named “weather forecast” by the fishermen thanks to their abilities to recognize the weather changes (sometimes they are called “Chim bao bao” – storm-petrels). Only by looking closely into the birds’ eyes, can we feel their strength, bravery and pride.
Phu Quoc vortex dogs belong to 3 species having vortexes on their backs that still exist in the world.
We would like to give you a brief introduction about these precious animals
