The Natural pearls

THE NATURAL SHOPPING PLOT

The main composition of a natural pearl is narce. People believe that a natural pearl is formed when a small foreign object (such as a parasite, grain of sand, or piece of food) lodges itself into a mollusk or oyster. In a defensive response to the irritant, the mollusk secretes nacre as a smooth, protective coating. Year after year, as the nacre builds up around the irritant, it forms layers, eventually creating a pearl.

Therefore, natural pearls do not have completely round shapes, but their colors are extremely sparkling. These pearls are very valuable and precious. The real value of natural pearls may be equal to some precious stones depending on their sizes, shapes and the quality of the pearls themselves. Natural pearls have become really rare since the number of fishermen increased day by day. Consequently, there is not much chance to find a big shinning natural pearl. Most of the natural pearls are sold to famous wealthy collectors, and hardly can we see such a pearl used as a piece of jewellry.
